John Bean
A family law attorney, John has practiced with Dan Taylor since 1997. John has handled hundreds of cases at the trial court and appellate court level. He has been a member of Taylor, Bean & Hamer for 11 years, and practiced at Causey, Caywood, & Taylor from 1997 to 2002. John focuses on all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, parental relocation and Juvenile Court matters. John believes that a detailed understanding of a case results in the best outcome in complex divorce litigation.
John has the highest rating, AV, from Martindale-Hubbell, which rates attorneys in skill and ethical practice based on client and colleague reviews. He graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. John received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and worked for four years as an engineer before attending law school. As an engineer he developed the patience, tenacity, and eye for detail necessary for handling difficult divorce cases.
When not in the office, John spends time with his wife Denyse and his daughter Lauren, a musician and student at Tulane University. He is an avid runner.
